The Lansdowne Club was established in 1935. It is located at 9 Fitzmaurice Place, near Berkeley Square, in London. The present building forms part of the original Lansdowne House which was partly demolished when a new road was built that led into the square.
The dining room was dismantled and can now be seen in the Metropolitan Museum of New York. I had been employed a few years ago to assist with the redecoration of that room.
I provided advice on the redecoration of the interior and my company Papers and Paints supplied specially-coloured paint.
