Winchester College

Patrick Baty carried out an analysis of the paint in the School building

The School building at Winchester College was thought to have been designed by Sir Christopher Wren although this is now thought unlikely. The building measures 78ft by 35ft inside and is perhaps the finest and largest school in England. It was constructed between 1683-87. I was asked to provide guidance on its redecoration and carried out an analysis of the painted surfaces.
