Lambs Conduit Street -
Very much interested in your work on Lambs Conduit. When last in London 2002, I tried to find 73 Conduit Street and found to very interesting to see that many of the old houses were still standing. Unfortunately after #69 Lambs Conduit the old houses appeared to have been removed and a grocery store was on what I thought was #73.
When reading you web page, you mention that in 1840 – no. #33 Lambs Conduit was then # 65 – so it sounds like I missed my target!
I was specifically looking for a doctors home circa 1814 and wondered if you could suggest any reading material or internet sources that I could follow up on.
Thanks….

Thank you Dawn. I worked on that building about five years ago. As far as I remember, I found out what I did on the Internet. I am afraid that I haven’t had cause to research that immediate area more recently.
