Hi Patrick
This note is to request permission to use your image of graduated stone colours in a book I am preparing titled ‘New South Wales Railways in Colour 1855-1957′
The NSW Railways made extensive use of stone colours in the painting of buildings in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Your graduated stone colours chart conveys the typical colours of the time very well as Australian colours were of course based on English colours. The book will be published in March 2019 by Eveleigh Press -around 800 copies to be distributed in Australia. Could you please let me know if this is OK and whether you need further information
Best regards Garry Saunders

Thanks Garry.
Yes, of course. I would be very happy for you to use the image. I will send you a larger one which may be more useful. A brief acknowledgement would be appreciated. Best wishes Patrick
