(Former) Crown Estate Headquarters

Patrick Baty was employed by the Crown Estate to produce a rationale for the decoration of some of the interiors

The two Carlton House Terraces were built between 1827-33 by several architects to conform to John Nash’s master elevations. They occupy the site of the recently-demolished Carlton House.

I was employed by the Crown Estate to produce a rationale for the decoration of some of the interiors. The precedent set by the architect John Nash was to form the basis for the decorative scheme.
