Wilton House is the seat of the Earl of Pembroke, in Wilton near Salisbury, Wiltshire.
I carried out colour work here – including matching the stippled red on the Little Smoking Room Walls (see below) – and a full colour survey of the famous Wyatt Cloisters was carried out. In the latter it was found that each web of the vaulted ceiling was a different colour. I produced a plan with each of the colours labelled, which would allow for an exact reproduction of the Fowler scheme should it be wished.
Over the years Papers and Paints has also supplied paint for a number of the rooms.
