Eltham Lodge

Patrick Baty has worked here on two occasions providing colour and technical advice for the redecoration of the late 17th century interiors.

Eltham Lodge, Kent (1663–1664) was the first completed work of Hugh May. It was built for Sir John Shaw, Bart. in brick, with a stone pediment and Ionic pilasters. The double-pile house reflected Dutch influence.

The lodge is now the Club House of the Royal Blackheath Golf Club.

I have worked here on two occasions providing colour and technical advice for the redecoration of the late 17th century interiors.

I have also worked at the nearby Eltham Palace.
